24/08/05: LAMP DEFAULT UPDATE: MOVING HEADS- pro spot & wash 575 / pro spot & wash 250 / mini spot 150SA & 250SA

All the above products will now be supplied with the LAMP DEFAULT set to OFF. This means the lamp will NOT strike on power up.
This will give improved lamp life, and enable safer power up on larger rigs and installs.
This modification is in line with most other major manufacturers technical settings.

TO ENABLE THE LAMP either:

press MODE on the display panel.
press UP until LAMP shows on display, press ENTER.
press UP until LAAU shows on display, press ENTER.
press UP to show ON, press ENTER.
press the ESC button until display shows A001.
POWER OFF the unit then POWER BACK ON the unit, the lamp will now strike

OR:

POWER UP the unit and connect to DMX.
SELECT DMX value 40-59 on:
Channel 14 for 575 spot & wash.
Channel 12 for 250 spot & wash.
Channel 8 for 150/250 spot SA
NOTE: If this method is used it must be repeated on each power up as the LAAU (lamp auto) is still set to OFF

Increased light ouput and improved image quality can be achieved by this
simple adjustment to the lamp plate, sited on the base of the unit. (shown)

1: Using a 3mm alen key tighten (clockwise) screws 1,2 & 3 evenly
three turns each at a time until they bottom out. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.

2: Adjust 1,2 or 3 (initially anti-clockwise) to achieve a flat even image field
with no hotspots.

We now recommend an OD size of 24mm (NOT 25mm) for the custom Gobo. Image size remains at 20mm
